স্মার্ট বাংলাদেশ গঠনের রূপরেখায় সরকারের সাথে গর্বিত অংশীদারে স্বাস্থ্য সেবাকে দেশের প্রাম্ভিক পর্যায়ে উন্নত প্রযুক্তির ই-হেলথ/ডিজিটাল পদ্ধতিতে অল্প সময়ে কম খরচে ঘরে ঘরে প্রত্যেক সাধারণ মানুষকে হেলথ কার্ডের মাধ্যমে স্বাস্থ্য সেবা দেয়ার লক্ষে প্রত্যয় স্মার্ট হেলথ কেয়ার লিঃ (PSHCL) অঙ্গীকার বদ্ধ।
বর্তমানে গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশ সরকারের স্মার্ট বাংলাদেশ গড়ার রূপরেখার গর্বিত অংশিদারের দেশের প্রান্তিক পর্যায়ে, সকল মানুষকে স্বল্প মূল্যে হেলথ কার্ডের মাধ্যমে উন্নত স্বাস্থ্যসেবা এবং আর্থিক নিরাপত্তা প্রদানে এবং গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশ সরকারের স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তর থেকে অনুমোদনকৃত HHH টেলিমেডিসিন ই- হেলথ/ডিজিটাল স্বাস্থ্যসেবা প্রকল্প বাস্তবায়নে চিকিৎসা সেবা প্রকল্প কার্যক্রম শতভাগ সফলতার জন্য বিএমডিসি কর্তৃক অনুমোদিত বিশেষজ্ঞ চিকিৎসক বৃন্দের সমন্বয়ে টেলি প্রেসক্রিপশন চিকিৎসা সেবা সহ হাসপাতাল সমূহের সেবা প্রদানে Human Health Helptime (HHH) এর সাথে যৌথভাবে কার্যক্রম শুরু করেছে প্রত্যয় স্মার্ট হেলথ কেয়ার লিঃ।
হেলথ কার্ড কি ও কেন প্রয়োজন?
ঔষধের মূল্য আকাশচুম্বী, রোগ নির্ণয়ের পরীক্ষা-নিরীক্ষার উচ্চ খরচ, সিসিইউ, আইসিইউ, অপারেশন চার্জ অতিরিক্ত খরচ এর সাথে ক্যান্সার, হার্ট, লিভার, কিডনী বিকল, ঘাতক ষ্টোক এবং দুর্ঘটনা অঙ্গহানি হলে সমাজের বেশীর ভাগ লোকই টাকার অভাবে চিকিৎসা থেকে বঞ্চিত হচ্ছে। একটি সমীক্ষায় দেখা গেছে, প্রতি বছর ৩ কোটির বেশী মানুষ ডাক্তার বা হাসপাতালের খরচের ভয়ে চিকিৎসা নিতে চায় না এবং প্রতি বছর ৮৬ লাখ মানুষ গরীব থেকে আরও গরীব হয় শুধুমাত্র চিকিৎসার খরচ বহনে। মনে হচ্ছে স্বাস্থ্যসেবা সোনার হরিণ সমতুল্য। যারা দীর্ঘ মেয়াদী রোগে ভোগে তাদের অনেকের পক্ষে চিকিৎসা চালানো সম্ভব না। স্বল্প আয়ের পরিবারে কোন একজন বড় ধরনের রোগে আক্রান্ত হয় তবে চিকিৎসা সেবা নিতে ভিটা, মাটি, ঘর-বাড়ী বিক্রি করে বা চড়া সুদে খরচ চালাতে হয়। এভাবে চিকিৎসার খরচ মেটাতে আর্থিক দীনতায় অনেক পরিবার ধ্বংস হয়ে যায়। চিরন্তন সত্য যদি তাদের হেলথ কার্ড থাকত তবে এ অবস্থায় পরতে হতো না। এজন্য প্রত্যেক পরিবারের হেলথ কার্ড থাকা জরুরী। কারন PSHCL হেলথ কার্ড প্রদানের মাধ্যমে আর্থিক সুরক্ষা দিয়ে থাকে। পৃথিবীর উন্নত দেশের রাষ্ট্রগুলোর মানুষের স্বাস্থ্যসেবা অধিকাংশ হেলথ কার্ডের উপর নির্ভরশীল ফলে স্বাস্থ্য সেবার ব্যয় মেটাতে সে সব দেশের জনগণকে আর্থিক সমস্যায় পরতে হয় না। বিপুল জনগোষ্টীর এই বাংলাদেশে প্রচার প্রচারনার অভাবে হেলথ কার্ড চালু করা সফল ভাবে সম্ভব হয়নি। এমন কি হেলথ কার্ড শব্দ অনেক মানুষের কাছে অপরিচিত। টেকসই উন্নয়ন অর্জনে সবার দরকার দেশের জনগণের সু-স্বাস্থ্য নিশ্চিত করা। সার্বজনীন স্বাস্থ্য সুরক্ষা কর্মসূচিতে হেলথ কার্ডের কোন বিকল্প নেই। প্রকৃত পক্ষে হেলথ কার্ড মানুষের সম্পদ এবং স্বাস্থ্যকর জীবন বজায় রাখতে ইহা অতি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
পরিবারের একমাত্র উপার্জনকারী হঠাৎ অসুস্থ হলে অনেকের হাতে জমানো টাকা থাকে না যে কারণে উক্ত ব্যক্তির চিকিৎসা খরচ বহন করা অসম্ভব হয়ে পড়ে। তাছাড়া উপার্জনকারীর অকাল মৃত্যুতে ঐ পরিবারটি কঠিন আর্থিক সমস্যার মধ্যে নিপতিত হয়, উল্লেখিত সমস্যা নিরসনে সামান্য অর্থের বিনিময়ে উন্নত স্বাস্থ্যসেবা এবং আর্থিক নিরাপত্তা বিধানে প্রত্যয় স্মার্ট হেলথ কেয়ার লিঃ নিয়ে এলো "এক্সপ্রেস হেলথ” প্যাকেজ নামে একটি স্বাস্থ্যসেবা প্যাকেজ। আর্থিক সক্ষমতার বিষয়টি মাথায় রেখে উক্ত হেলথ প্যাকেজটি ৩ ভাগে তৈরী করা হয়েছে যথাঃ-
1. অর্থনীতি একক প্যাকেজ
2. এক্সপ্রেস একক প্যাকেজ
3. Express Family Package (পরিবারের ০৪ (চার) সদস্যের জন্য)
হেলথ প্যাকেজ কি?
ক) ১৮-৬৫ বছর বয়সী যে কোন বাংলাদেশী নাগরিক আমাদের সেবা গ্রহণ করতে পারবেন।
খ) একজন গ্রাহক তার হেলথ কার্ডের টাকা প্রদানের ১৫ (পনের) দিন পর থেকে কভারেজের আওত্তাভুক্ত হবেন।
গ) আমাদের গ্রাহকগণ প্রতিদিন (২৪ ঘন্টা) কোম্পানির নিজস্ব বিশেষজ্ঞ ডাক্তারগণের ফ্রি টেলিমেডিসিন চিকিৎসা সেবা গ্রহন করতে পারবেন অথবা গ্রাহক প্রয়োজনে বাংলাদেশের যে কোন হাসপাতালে ভিজিট প্রদান করে পছন্দমত বিশেষজ্ঞ ডাক্তারগণের চিকিৎসা সেবা গ্রহন করা যাবে। (অবশ্যই রেজিস্টার ডাক্তার হতে হবে)।
ঘ) চিকিৎসার দাবিকৃত টাকা প্রয়োজনীয় কাগজপত্র জমা দেওয়ার পর ব্যাংকচেক অথবা প্রাহকের একাউন্ট নম্বরে প্রদান করা হবে।
ঙ) হাসপাতালে ক্যাশব্যাক পাওয়ার জন্য হাসপাতাল কর্তৃপক্ষের ছাড়পত্র, অরিজিনাল বিলের কপি এবং কোম্পানী কর্তৃক একটি ফরম পূরণের মাধ্যমে আবেদন করতে হবে।
চ) মৃত্যু দাবির টাকা পাওয়ার জন্য ডাক্তার কর্তৃক ডেথ সার্টিফিকেট, নমিনীর বিস্তারিত তথ্য, নমিনীর ব্যাংক একাউন্ট এর চেকের ফটোকপি, নমিনী এবং গ্রাহকের এনআইডি কার্ডের ফটোকপি সহ আবেদন করতে হবে।
ছ) হাসপাতালের ক্যাশব্যাক এবং মৃত্যু দাবির টাকা পাওয়ার জন্য ১৫ (পনের) দিনের মধ্যে আবেদন করতে হবে। ১৫ (পনের) দিন পর আবেদন গ্রহণযোগ্য নয়।
জ) এক্সপ্রেস হেলথ এর গ্রাহকগণ দেশের বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে ডায়গণস্টিক সেন্টারে ১০% থেকে ৪০% (শতকরা দশ থেকে চল্লিশ ভাগ) পর্যন্ত মেডিকেল টেস্টে ছাড় পাবেন।

Dr. Mohammad Karim is a visionary healthcare leader with over 25 years of experience in healthcare management and administration. He founded Prottoy Healthcare with the mission of making quality healthcare accessible to every citizen of Bangladesh.
Before founding Prottoy Healthcare, Dr. Karim served as the Director of Healthcare Operations at Bangladesh Medical Council and held senior leadership positions at several renowned healthcare institutions. He holds an MBBS from Dhaka Medical College, an MBA in Healthcare Management from IBA, and a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University.
Under his leadership, Prottoy Healthcare has grown from a small startup to one of the most trusted healthcare management organizations in Bangladesh, serving over 500,000 members across all divisions.
Ms. Fatima Rahman
Chief Operating Officer
Ms. Fatima Rahman brings over 20 years of operational excellence and strategic planning expertise to Prottoy Healthcare. She oversees all day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless service delivery across our nationwide network.
Prior to joining Prottoy Healthcare, Fatima was the VP of Operations at Square Health Network and held senior management roles in several Fortune 500 healthcare companies. She holds an MBA from North South University and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
Her data-driven approach and commitment to operational efficiency have been instrumental in reducing claim processing times by 60% and improving customer satisfaction scores significantly.
Dr. Ahmed Hassan

Dr. Ahmed Hassan is a highly respected physician and healthcare policy expert who leads our clinical operations and quality assurance initiatives. He ensures that all medical services meet the highest standards of care and compliance.
Dr. Hassan is a specialist in Internal Medicine with over 18 years of clinical practice. He completed his MBBS from Chittagong Medical College, MD from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, and a fellowship in Healthcare Quality from Harvard Medical School.

Rahim has over 15 years of experience in healthcare IT and digital transformation. Before joining Prottoy Healthcare, he was the Head of Digital Innovation at Grameenphone Health and worked as a senior architect at multiple tech startups.
He holds a BSc in Computer Science from BUET and an MS in Health Informatics from University of Waterloo. Under his leadership, Prottoy Healthcare has won multiple awards for technological innovation in healthcare.
Ms. Nasrin Akter

Ms. Nasrin Akter is a seasoned financial executive responsible for all financial planning, risk management, and strategic investments at Prottoy Healthcare. Her prudent financial management has enabled sustainable growth and expansion.
With over 16 years of experience in healthcare finance, Nasrin previously served as Finance Director at BRAC Health Programme and held senior positions at PwC Bangladesh. She is a chartered accountant (CA) and holds an MBA in Finance from Dhaka University.
Her expertise in healthcare economics and financial modeling has been crucial in developing our affordable package pricing strategy that benefits hundreds of thousands of members.
Dr. Sharmin Sultana

Dr. Sharmin Sultana ensures that Prottoy Healthcare maintains the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. She oversees all quality assurance programs and compliance initiatives across our organization.
Dr. Sultana has 14 years of experience in healthcare quality management and regulatory affairs. She holds an MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College, an MPH from BRAC University, and certifications in Healthcare Quality Management from ISQua.
